A few years ago, I was exactly where you are. I first developed hip pain doing a bit of decorating which then became 2 years of relentless back pain. I tried everything and nothing worked and my normally active lifestyle slipped away from me.
When I discovered the mind-body connection everything changed. I learned that physical pain may not always be an indication of tissue damage or structural pathology—its roots are often linked to emotions and stress; for me, this made a lot of sense! In the few years leading up to the onset of my pain, life had been pretty punishing, stress levels were high and my body was bearing the emotional load. By understanding the mind-body connection and consistently applying this approach I got back to doing the things I love.
With my personal experience and certified training I now help outdoorsy, life-jugglers overcome chronic pain and symptoms naturally, using scientifically proven tools and exercises. It’s not always easy, but it is absolutely possible.
